Meta releases Thread beta program for Android

 

Android users can soon get a sneak peek at upcoming features for Meta Thread, the new Twitter competitor Elon Musk is irritating. 
 
A meta engineer announced on the platform that "Android users who like to live on the cutting edge" can sign up for a beta version of the app, which launched this week and has already attracted more than 30 million sign-ups by Thursday morning. There is no mention of the iOS beta program. So far, according to the engadget report.  
 
While there aren't any beta versions of the Android app available yet, the software can be tempting because the platform still lacks a long list of required features and these features include Direct Messages, a full web version, time feed, Follow feed, And the ability to delete your profile without erasing your Instagram account, too
 
Of course, shareware often comes with bugs so only proceed if you are comfortable with the risks associated with it. As @0xjessel of Meta advised, "New features and bug fixes will appear here first, but you'll also have to accept the increased risks of a more unstable build since it was earlier.
 
 In addition, Meta will collect your data possibly more than usual, and certain data about your use of the App will be collected and shared with the developer to help improve the App.”
 
And if you're feeling adventurous, you can sign up for beta access. Fortunately, there's no waiting list: anyone with an Android device can get into the program and try out future versions as they become available.
