Fortnite V-bucks will become more expensive after raising its prices. Find out the details

The Fortnite game currency is subject to a price adjustment, which will make V-bucks more expensive in a number of countries. The price change comes into effect on October 27, and affects the following countries: the Czech Republic, Denmark, eurozone countries, Hungary, Japan, and Norway. Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States (in addition to countries that use the US dollar in Fortnite storefronts), according to theverge report.

“These adjustments are based on economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations, and follow similar pricing consensuses recently completed in the UK, Canada and Mexico,” developer Epic Games said in a statement when announcing the changes.

The changes are not huge, but they will be noticeable to those who frequently spend money on the game, and in the US, for example, the new prices will look like this:

• 1,000 V-Bucks – $8.99, previously $7.99

• 2,800 V-Bucks – $22.99, previously $19.99

• 5,000 V-Bucks – $36.99, previously $31.99

• 13,500 V-Bucks – $89.99, previously $79.99

The changes also affect a few content packs and you can see all the revised prices here as we mentioned but the monthly subscription price for Fortnite Crew will remain the same.
