Apple is heading to launch the iPhone 17 with the biggest change in design and features

The iPhone 16 launch is still just a few months away, but rumors seem to be more excited about Apple's plans for the iPhone 17 models in 2025. You might argue that bringing its own AI features is as big a deal for the company as the first iPhone launched in 2007, so why is all the focus shifting to the 2025 models already? The company seems set to make the biggest design and feature changes to all iPhone 17 models , even the vanilla ones

While Apple will introduce the A18 chipset for AI features to all iPhone 16 models this year, the company will save some of the bigger changes for the iPhone 17 series.

Reports suggest that the vanilla and Plus versions of the iPhone 17 lineup will finally support ProMotion display technology that brings a 120Hz refresh rate to the entire lineup

That's not all, we also expect to see the variable refresh rate feature enabled on these models thanks to LTPO technology that allows the display to switch between 1Hz and 120Hz based on what you're doing on the device

Does this mean that the iPhone 16 models will only offer a higher refresh rate display for the Pro models? New details seem to point to that possibility. Other changes could be camera-related, with the larger 48MP sensor expected to become a staple of future iPhone models
Hopefully, we’ll see some design improvements with the 2025 iPhones as the update is long overdue now and most people would agree with that thought. All of these changes will inevitably lead to higher prices for the regular iPhone 17 models as well, allowing the company to push the prices of the Pro models even higher
